In the early episodes of `Star Trek’, Dr McCoy's hi-tech medical scanner was just an ordinary salt shaker. That’s a historical fact, so you don’t need to take it with a pinch of salt.
The phasers were carved out of balsa wood. The original Enterprise and Klingon warship models now reside at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. Oh wow..I AM a geek. Cheers, Doug
Ahh. Dr. Who was lot more innocent in those days, too..
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteNow that was a great show. Huge fan base (still) here in Oz.

At one point, a communicator was a lady's razor.
ReplyDeleteHi Bart,
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that. What a great piece of trivia - and what a great name.
I always knew you were a razor-sharp wit.
Always nice to hear from you, Bart-man.

Hey, we're all geeks at heart!
Keep smiling
