Photograph copyright: DAVID McMAHONIt was a hot, humid afternoon in Singapore when I spotted this huge rotating fan on a street corner. I zoomed in as close as I could, because it seemed to me that there was a security camera a few inches to the right of the fan. That's one way to keep cafe patrons cool in the open air, while ensuring their safety. And if you look carefully, you'll notice three different colours on the walls - pink, yellow and mustard. I guess you could say I'm a big fan of keeping cool.
Important accoutrements for outside cafes I would think!

i like the convergence of the colors on the buildings. color always grabs my eye.

I've never seen colors like that but it does get your attention and you have to like a big fan.

The fan is a wonderful thing for the patrons, but the colors of the building....that might cause someone to have a headache. LOL! Cool punicture!
ReplyDeleteI think the fan would be a nice idea as long as the cups at the cafe are heavy duty and won't blow over :) but Ithe color choice would make me a tad queezy. To each his own...
