  11. Those tags are cute! I can see how someone might want to collect them. :) I used to live just two houses down from the local John Deer owner. We played with his daughters all the time.

  13. Am I having a déjà vu moment here? Both the image and the word "stockman" triggered it.

  14. He sort of reminds me of the guy at the party during the movie "Say Anything" who's responsible for holding the car keys until the attendees are sober enough to drive home....

  15. Okay, what are they, hotel room keys? Tractor keys? strong box keys? keys to laughter? All of the above and then some?

    Too funny David

  20. I too echo everyone's question.

What are those things on the hatband?

Will you give us a clue David?

  21. They are ear tags for stock, either cattle or sheep.

  22. David, I must say I like your photo of the hat much more than the hat itself. You elevate it into art.

  23. What an interesting collection of tags! I've never seen anyone do that to his hat. You'd think that where I live I'd have seen something like that before.

That was a great (and funny) catch.

  32. Great shots David. Interesting that they keep them on their hat. Thinking of how they tag the livestock that wouldn't seem to be the easiest place to grab one off.

  33. You won't believe what I thought those were at fist glance...something that would fit over a pole...you know, slide down the pole for some reason. Yeah, stupid I know, but without all the perspective, it's strange what the eye sees and what use the mind can create for it!

  34. Love it! How creative.

  35. Very colorful. I imagine this is better than shoving everything into his pockets.
