Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

My uncle the intrepid ballooner
Crash-landed on a schooner
He had to go and hide his face
When they called him "basket case".

  1. That's actually pretty good aim to land a balloon on a schooner. He shouldn't be ashamed at all. That's like those parachuters that can hit those tiny targets on landing.

  4. He really is lucky to HAVE a face
After crashing balloon, having a race!
Your uncle does some dangerous things....
He might have ended with harp & wings!
Tell him to have a little rest
And not to forget his woolly vest.
He should be looking after your Aunt
Making sure she has enough eggplant!

  6. In the morning when I shave, I use both blade and 'Lectric. My beard is tough and random grows, I'm forced to be eclectic.

    Back to you Dave.

So delighted to find you. "Give P's a chance" indeed!

If balloners 'baloon', do schooners 'schoon'?

  9. Wow. What a deflating experience. I bet that flattened his spirits. Oh well, at least he is no longer full of hot air. Things have a way of blowing up like that sometimes.

    Ouch, these are painful!
