It Came As A Shock To Him
A Romanian electrician, Constantin Craiu, claims he doesn't get electric shocks even when he touches live wires without protection. He says he can stick two nails into a power socket and only feel his fingers getting warm. He has been dubbed The Electric Man after he put two wires into an electric socket and used his hands as conductors to turn on a lamp.
FOOTNOTE: Socket to him.
That's a serious case of please don't do this at home!
ReplyDeleteIt's probably a matter of time until he makes a mistake and .... Well, you know.
ReplyDeleteAloha David,
ReplyDeleteI can't help thinking that if I tried something like that, I'd end up spontaniously combusting!!
The human DNA is a mystery to have so many variences.
I bet he lights up everyones life..lol
PEace, kai
So that's who my son is trying to imitate. Damn.
ReplyDeleteBut the "sock it to him" line reminded me that I've been meaning to make a Sock It To Me cake.
Yum.
I don't want to be around him during a lightning storm.
ReplyDeleteIf this electrician thing doesn't work out for him, he can always get a job with the orchestra as the conductor.
Shocking indeed. He really doesn't know how to conduct himself.
ReplyDeleteI can just hear his wife singing
ReplyDelete"You light up my life!"
Electrifying post. Quite high-voltage subject matter. It has a real spark to it and gave me a buzz.. A real 'switch' from the usual...
ReplyDeleteI had a close encounter with being electrocuted....lol. Thinking back it is scary. I was then staying in a rented old apartment (more than 20 yrs) while waiting for the renovation of my new home to be done. I was trying to switch off the light in the bathroom with my wet hands, it was a terrible mistake, I was throw back and hit against the wall. The shock was so great, good thing I was standing on a piece of fabric mat otherwise I would be dead.
ReplyDeleteDavid, thanx for keeping us up with these current events!
ReplyDeleteJust as well he isn't having to face the Electric Chair!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't even singe his hair!
I ask why would he have thought sticking nails in a socket would have been a good idea in the first place? These are the same people that are responsible for a little thing I call my job security...
