I saw a tree today that was the most incredible color I've ever seen. I was driving and unable to pull over, and now I can't remember where I saw it. It had leaves the color of rubies, and it was in a yard next to a redbud tree which has purplish blossoms. We are in what the poet ee cummings referred to as "in just spring."

There are many trees of that variety on my street ... and when those leaves fall the whole street from top of the hill to the bottom is yellow

ReplyDeleteIt seems representative of many seasons. :) Kinda looks like snow falling behind the leaves but I imagine it was rain.
