Post Of The Day

Today's joint winners are Crystal Jigsaw with Through The Looking Glass and Menopausal Old Bag with Australia – Land Of The Ten-Pound Pom. The other top contenders were Incurable Insomniac with Alternate Realities; French Fancy with Chemistry; Behind The White Curtain with August 2005 – Labor Day Light; Craig Glenn with An Observation In Parenting; Lene with My World; Cheshire Wife with Keep Taking The Tablets and Tracie with Oh For Cryin' Out Loud.

Thank you for the hundreds of emails, comments and expressions of concern for Melbourne. I have tried to reply personally to each of you, but I am swamped by sheer numbers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you - and please pray for this city.

Thank you so much, David. To be top mention in your POTD is such an honour - I am sure the others will agree.

You know how much I love to write about my dad and especially my paranormal experiences. To have them shared around the world is another dream come true for me.

Love to Australia at this very difficult time.

    Thanks again, David.

  15. The photos here are spectacular, but one thing about this page really caught my eye:

"Totally committed to encouraging excellence in others."

I'm others, and I'll take two.

    All the Best

  16. These pictures are just amazing. Your prose too is so evocative of the horror your country is experiencing right now. I was so impressed by the beauty of Australia when I was on assignment there and to know people are losing their lives, homes and history because of arson makes my heart bleed with sorrow. It is a very sad time for you all and I know many people in the UK are so very sorry for the losses you all bear.

It almost seems trite to say thank you for the POTD again in such circumstances but thank you anyway.
