Please Don’t Use The Punch Line, Officer
A Liverpool motorist was stopped by a police officer and questioned - for laughing behind the wheel of his car. The man was using a hands-free phone when he laughed at a joke told by his brother-in-law. The officer who stopped him said: "Laughing while driving a car can be an offence."

It is just becoming ridiculous here! :(
ReplyDeleteThere are many people who sadly wish to make laughing illegal.
ReplyDeleteIt will soon be against the law to think certain thoughts....... and I shall probably be arrested any time now!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing, but strictly inside.
ReplyDeleteThis puts a dent in my life's philosophy that "laughs are free." I have always said that it is the only thing not taxed or fined. There I go thinking again,.
ReplyDeleteWonder how much trouble a person would be with the coppers if they were laughing heartily without a hands free device and the radio off? What would happen to me if I busted out laughing even harder when pulled over for laughing?
ReplyDeleteSeriously? I wonder what the fine is?
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke!
ReplyDeleteWhere is the world heading?
Oh for goodness sake, go catch a criminal, you silly man! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteYes but only if you're laughing so hard that your eyes are closed! Is sneezing an offence?
