Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Why on earth does Professor Huppet
Look and sound like a Jim Henson Muppet?
Who does his voice and who pulls his strings?
And who can calibrate the joy that he brings?

  3. I'm sorry I ruined the first attempt at a comment - I can't type, apparently.

You hit on something I get an uncalibrated amount of joy from and that is Jim Henson's Muppets. Thanks, I enjoyed this very much.

My verification is bootizin. It made me laugh.

  4. in ivory towers there are those
with smarts and wit and yet ropes on their toes
try as they might to write their own words
they're mere prisoners in a jail of nerds

  5. HEE ... this one made me giggle. Jim Henson Puppet. Brilliant.

I've been a bad bloggy friend with my new crazed schedule, as I ease into it though, I hope to be able to go through more things!

  6. We may never know
    Who's behind the back
But we know what's up front
And who must take up the slack
    When the professor stops talking
    And the students start walking--

Hey, can I copy your notes?
