He shouldn't have shown off in his bright red coupe
It was simply too breezy for his brand-new toupee
His lady beside him was shocked and appalled
When she realised he was unrelentingly bald

That is absolutely hilarious. Quite the visual you created. :)

He swore never to be over smart
In showing off with a head start.

The lady in the car behind
ReplyDeleteDriving along, she thought she'd gone blind.
Something had flung itself into her eyes...
Twas a furry toupee .....which caused her surprise.
Her balding man in the seat beside her
Who she lovingly nicknamed "Furless Tiger"
Put on the toupee and exclaimed with glee...
"A gift from Heaven.... it just fits me!"
A Poem for me?
ReplyDeleteThanks
But then of blew her wig
ReplyDeleteAnd that ended their gig.
The bald man in his coupe
Has not a girlfriend today!
This is a clever little rhyme. I like "unrelentingly bald" - says how bald but also how much of a shock it was.
ReplyDeletePoor guy.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious! But for me, whether a man is bald or not makes no difference - except that a "naked" head can be rather sexy! lol
ReplyDeleteShe thought to herself that it wasn't too bad
ReplyDeleteAfter all he could have been as old as her dad.
And it is a sign of a man who is virile
To lose all his hair and not to be sterile.
A bit easier than the Shakesperian I have been attempting recently!
