Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Sir Peter Pettigrew and his fair Lady Sandra
Bought a sheep station in rural Mullengandra
But alas she enjoyed few days to wear pearls
For there was no duchess, nor even any earls

  2. Well at least it was only a sheep station and not a pig farm.

  5. Hi David, thank You for your kind offer to take my recalcitrant children! I hope you have room for five ~ they are quite a hungry lot, and two are still in nappies. No sweat?

Bless you, I'll have them ready for pick up at 5p.m.

    Thank You so much. :D

  7. Well you know the saying about not throwing pearls under the feet of swine! Well I guess that goes for sheep also!
Funny rhyme! Where do you get your inspiration from!

  8. Said the Duke to the Lady
This looks to me a little shady
Did he twist you by the arm
To agree to move on to this farm?

  9. Fun, David! Loved the Pettigrew link to Harry Potter. Those books are a big favorite of mine. Doubt the queen would have made Peter a Knight of the Realm though, he was a villain, wondering why you did.

    Cheers!

P.S. Read your comments to Sandi last night...both the one from my blog and the one on hers. She is doing better. They are taking the IV out today (Thursday) and she hopes to go home on Friday!

    Peace! Hope! & Joy!
