Don’t Try Swimming This Channel
Two burglars who sneaked into underground water tunnels in Kunming, China, to escape from police got lost inside and had to be rescued eight hours later. After they disappeared into a discharge channel above the river, they rang police and asked to be rescued.

Only in a story like this would someone stuck in a sewer be able to get phone service!

Well... when they get out of prison, they could get rich doing commercials for their wireless provider. Then they can leave their life of crime behind.
