Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

You won’t see Farmer Quist
In thunder, rain or mist
And when his sheep are mustered
He never gets too flustered

  1. 'Cause those sheep know the drill
In the valley and on the hill.
Show up, be kind, act real sweet
And Farmer Quest will give you a treat.

  2. "If I were a sheep, and a sweet sheep too,
I shouldn't much care if it rained or snew.
I shouldn't much mind if it misted or friz,
I'd be well-behaved, with a farmer like his."

They knew what it meant when he docked their tails
And that's why they hide and run like snails
Not one of them wants to be the winner
When they know they will end up as
    somebodys dinner.
