Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

So it's "Et tu, Brute"
Remember your parachute, eh
Who thought the world's worst jiver
Would be a great skydiver

  1. Just before jumping from the plane
I spoke with the pilot named Wayne
As we flew into a cloud of rain
He suggested next time take a train
    Before jumping somewhere over Spain
Perhaps this idea is rather insane
Maybe my body should ask my brain
    Explain again of possible pain.

  2. Funny you should post this today as I was just informed that my oldest daughter who is visiting a friend in CA went skydiving today. A very bold move for a girly girl. :-)

  3. LOL Because I so often find a meaningful connection in your poems I went Googling for one this time. Using keywords dancer +skydiver I came up with American Boogie which was or is to be shown on Mythbusters. So I'm wondering if that was it? Sky dancing sure sounds fun!

    Cheers!

  5. A skydiver just cannot afford
Not to pull his flimsy rip cord
    In order to land
He will take this to hand
Or he will meet early his Lord.

    Love doing these David!
