Here Comes The Bride (And A World Record)

A Chinese bride is hoping to get her name in the record books after getting married in a 1.4 mile-long wedding dress. More than 200 guests took over three hours to unroll Lin Rong's wedding train and pin on 9,999 red silk roses for her wedding.

    And the moral of the story is... if you have dont nothing else to get recognition then buy it. Beauty of this is that you will have more photographs of your wedding than ever before. It is kind of sad I think...

    More money than sense!

    The chinese are very superstitious when it comes to numbers: 1, 3, 4 and 9 being their favourite - especially when gambling.

    Lets hope this gamble (wedding)pays off!

    That has to be one of the most difficult details of a wedding to manage. The cost alone would be prohibitive but the weight of it on her head and she would have to have some give in order to move forward. I don't think group could carry it and fit in a chapel so the ceremony would have been held outside. And I think the answer to Moannie's question would be probably 3 miles or more above the earth which would mean the need for oxygen tanks and you might not even see that veil at that height. LOL
