Verse and worse

My first cousin Trent hitch-hiked to Kent
Leaving size 16 footprints wherever he went
He was sponsored by Kumar and well shod by Puma
And regaled the drivers with his great sense of humour

  8. Trent of big shoe
    will entertain you
if you give him a ride
from here to the other side

  9. Big smile from me David, but I can't even imagine someone with a size 16 footprint.

  10. We pulled over where there used to be a truck stop,
But we stepped out into endless muck slop,
A fine doe said this is where her buck stops,
Then we jumped into the pond with a duck flop.

  11. Trent has big feet
    But must look rather neat
    In his Puma trainers
    Designed for No-brainers.

(I can confidently say that because I'm sure that he isn't really your cousin..... if he exists at all!)

  12. These trainers are certainly neat
For this guy with enormous feet
    But Kent's just too far
    for Trent, even by car
So he made a hasty retreat.

  13. I thought there was a 'ruma'
Of the Kumar tie with Puma
But my word those enormous feet
    Left footprints in the sleet
I love to say I 'met ee'
But he must have been a Yeti.
