Topic Of Capricorn

Do You Have Star Quality?

Do you quickly flip through the horoscopes when no one else is watching you? Do they rule your life? I'd be grateful if you could take a second to respond to the poll on the right.

Update: It's been an interesting poll so far. After almost 24 hours, there have been 26 votes on the subject. "Always" got 3%, "Sometimes" got 57%, "Never" got 34% and "Only when no one else is looking" got 3%.

  1. Ha Ha! According to the results, there is no "in-between" to speak of.

  3. No sir, never did...I believe we make our own daily happenings! There may be a little luck, a little fate, a little divine intervention, but for the most part we make it or break it!

  7. If I ever did read a horoscope, it would most likely be from the previous days predictions---you know, see what I might have missed, for future reference!

And, yes, I read the comics! Strictly for the educational content, of course...!

  8. No I never do. I might look at the one that comes in a Chinese cookie but it is generally to have a joke about it.

  12. I used to at uni on wednesdays, the local rag the advertiser were nice enough to give us free copies on wednesday, so by the time i'd stared at the cross word and the comics for an hour, I'd always give the scopes a glance, just to see how wrong they were. Plus the ones in the Good weekend magazine, are always a little humorous.

  20. G'day Vic,

Yes, fortune cookies are pretty big here. But like you, we crack 'em open just so we don't end up chewing on paper!

  21. Hi Keshi,

That's the trick. Read 'em but don't swell on 'em. I think most people are far too rational to get obsessed about horoscopes. But I do have a funny story to tell. Watch this space ...

    I'm always there for friends

  23. Hi Maverick,

Thanks for taking the trouble to vsiit and to leave a comment.

That's the way to deal with horoscopes, although I have a healthy respect for those who believe fervently in them.

  33. oh yes, forgetting it is a good thing once you are done reading it up!! if you knew everything thanks to the stars, then where would be the surprise element which makes so many things special??
Though, I find it kinds funny!! But frankly, I friend of mine is mroe inclined on figuring out someone's traits on the basis of their star sign or vice-versa... so much so, she insists I'm less of a libran, more of a scorp... in reality am a scorp cusp of Libra!!
there goes the star signs for you... all for a toss!! :)
