Is That A Crevasse, Dear? Or A Crevice?
A UK couple are braving the elements by attempting to climb nearly 300 mountains - naked. The naturists, known only as Stuart and Karla, want to reach the peak of Scotland's 284 Munros, which are mountains more than 1000m high. So far, they've conquered 15 and record their progress - complete with photos of them naked and cold - on their own website.
FOOTNOTE: Hope they don’t get frostbite.

ReplyDeleteso if they require crampons for traction does that disqualify them as being naked?
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm wondering is whether or not shoes fall into their definition of "au naturel". Goodness.
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot! I cannot imagine climbing anything fully dressed--I'm more of a walker--much less naked.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind comment at Portland (OR) Daily Photo on ABC Wednesday.
Sometimes the naked truth is more than I can bare. Guess that's one way to draw attention to their climb to the top.
ReplyDeleteHi Lime,
ReplyDeleteClimbing equipment? Naaaha, we'll grant them that.

Hi Kimberly,
ReplyDeleteBecause footwear comes under the ambit of climbing necessities, we'll allow that, methinks!

Personally, I can't even imagine doing that with clothes on,(I'd prefer to stay on the ground, either walking or hiking) and they are naked? I suppose they are feeling very much one with the nature! I hope they don't have any accidents, yikes, imagine how skinned up they would become.
ReplyDeleteeeeekkkk totally can NOT imagine doing that. How funny about the frost bite.
ReplyDeleteThat's just crazy talk. His junk is gonna turn blue and friggin' die on him. Stupid hippies.
ReplyDeletei'm not sure i want to see the photos, thankyou..wouldn't be much to see anyhow at that temperature... but i'll bet if naught else, they will have at least climbed and descended the quickest of anyone...
