Question Time

Try and answer these questions without referring to the internet - and then leave me a comment with your answers. Yes, you can use the help of a work colleague or a family member.

  • Who won the first American Idol title?
  • Which British comedian plays the role of Mr Bean?
  • How many US Presidents are carved into Mount Rushmore?
  • Which comic-book hero lives in Gotham City?
  • In which war did the Charge of the Light Brigade occur?
I'll post the answers later this week, along with the names of a) those who answered the most questions correctly and b) the person who provides the wittiest wrong answer.

    Which comic-book hero lives in Gotham City? Batman. He actually lives at my house when spiderman is not here. LOL.

    In which war did the Charge of the Light Brigade occur? hm... I have to think about this one. it might hurt my brain....I have no clue.

  6. 1. Was it Kelly Clarkson? I didn't get into it till season 4...or was it 3? And only heard her sing when she was asked by Reba to join her in the Duets album
    2. Oh...Rowan Atkinson, a comedien I truely do not like. Really. He only annoys in my opinion (though not my sons, who also like the three stooges...there's no accounting for taste)
    3. There are four of them and I can remember when watching North by Northwest with the wonderful Mr. Grant, wondering how that beautiful man kept from vomiting into Lincolns eye
    4. Okay, is this a trick question? I know that Batman and Robin live there...also their alter egos
    5. I believe it was the Crimean War but I am pretty sure that the battle was led by Lord Cardigan...I always think of my favorite red sweater when I was a younger person...a lovely Cardigan from an aunt in Scotland.
    Okay, nighty nite...I missed out on the last limerick...brain was too thick for thinking in rime

  14. David, I got an education on this one. 1) I thought the first American Idol was a guy. Glad to hear it was Kelly. 2) I tend to watch British SciFi because I'm a huge fan so I'm clueless on this one. 3) I knew it was 4 with plans on number 5. Have a hard time remembering names though. 4) I knew it was Batman right away. 5) And I would have researched the answer to the Light Brigade one because I remember the poem but nothing much about the reasons behind it. But hey, I remembered the order of the questions without looking! Cool!
