Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

A fussy eater in his teens
Simply refused to eat his greens
And so his mum devised a ploy
In his ice cream she mixed bok choy

  2. Ha...! Your poems are wonderful. They remind me of the "Little Willie" poems.

    Little Willie killed his sister.
She was dead before we missed her.
    Willie's always up to tricks.
Ain't he cute? He's only six.

I know a whole bunch of those... sadly. *heh*

Bok Choy in the ice cream? How absurd.
    I guess Willie's Mum hadn't heard,
She ought to learn to read the label,
Before she brings things to the table,
Ice cream is full of carageean,
and that's an algae (red, not green).

  9. He really is a naughty boy
to pick so much at his bok choy.
Mum's making a rod for her own back
To have to camouflage each snack!
