    It all started when Grandma lost her plastic dentures in the punch. They floated up top with the ice where all us kids could see them. Gram fished them out and told the maid to go ahead and serve the punch to us kids.

    That's when my cousin Clint assured us it would be all right, because all the germs stayed at the top. Then he leaned over to the maid and said, "Dip low, Mazie. Dip ow."
