Eye Opener

This Must Be A Time-And-Emotion Study

Yes, we've often seen people with sore eyes, but that condition seems to be more common in summer, not in the depths of the Australian winter. Hmm, let's take a closer look.

The problem here seems to be an inability to focus. And a definite redness. It also seems as if the pupils are slightly misaligned - a bit like unruly rabble at a school assembly.

Let's see, I think we're close to making a diagnosis here. There definitely seems to be an eye-popping problem.

Oh, no, we have a major issue here. The eyes are completely out of their sockets now. Did someone say "Socket to me"? We'll just stop now. These inane one-liners are just getting cornier and cornea.

(Sincere thanks to my noble colleague Kit, who very sportingly donned my hoax glasses for the purposes of this post.)

So, the guys who work with you get hazard pay, right? When they're hired the boss says, "Okay, we're going to put you over here by David. He's a little weird but if you humor him no one will get hurt. There will be a little extra something in your pay packet each month to compensate.

"Oh, hey, he's going to be taking your picture a lot. You aren't in the witness protection program or anything are you?"

  14. Kit is a very good sport! That is a great "random" post and I think you diagnose the problem perfectly. Even if it is cornea than some of the other stuff you post. (I just couldn't think of anything wittier than your own version!)
I've just posted a series of random photos if you would like a quick gander - and took your name in vain. Blamed you for all these photos. It is all your fault you know.

Great post. Cheers me up coming here!
