So, can you guess what I've photographed here? Is it an ancient piece of Aztec civilisation? No, it's a very common object. If you're thinking that the grain suggests wood, you're on the right track.
They're here, there and everywhere. Or maybe that should be "hear, there and everywhere". They're sound investments - literally. But you knew that already, didn't you?
I'll end the post now - while my guitar gently weeps.

ReplyDeleteI tried playing at one time and got a tune out of one. Alas the strings hurt my (now arthritic) fingers and I forgot more than I learned about chords! Give me a keyboard or piano anyday... ;0)

ReplyDeleteAmazing that you should stop by my blog today, as I had a little "story" this morning that reminded me of what I read on your blog: Everyone in town received a free copy of the local newspaper delivered to their door this morning (we were not forewarned). Rather than thinking we all received a free gift (which we did), everyone went to their neighbor's houses asking if they got their paper in error! So I guess the plot of the publisher trying to get new subscribers actually turned into a "meet your neighbor day"! =)
