Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Let’s all salute Sarah Palin
For she has no fear of failin’
If you need a policy on pollution
She’ll give you a Band-Aid solution

  2. Ouch!
That is unusually political of you!
But very good. Got me giggling and nodding... :0)

  3. Thank you David! I needed a good laugh. All around me live people who want to vote for McCain and his "win the feminine vote" running mate. My email box feels like a sore thumb. Do you think Sarah's bandaid solution would help that? LOL

    Cheers!

  4. Personally, I think you've been far too kind! :-)

  5. Sarah Palin will not fail
to give a story to tell.
She's like Bush all the way
    A laugh you'll have today.

  6. I can't wait until Thursday night so I can watch the debate between Biden and Palin. "John McCain wants to suspend his debate with Barack Obama until the economic crisis is over. And Sarah Palin wants to suspend her debate with Joe Biden until she can find Europe on a map." --Jay Leno

McCain has understimated the feminine brain!

  8. What about this woman, Sarah Palin?
She won't be drawn, so don't push her.

We know she's a redneck and a real hockey mom
and that from her house she can see Russia.

She's got this way with her words
that puts the democrats in a spin

    And alas for poor Obama,
She may actually go on to win.

    What about McCain you say
    Well let's forget about him.

We all know the vote is
    for miss perky and slim

If they wanted a woman to have the top desk
    Well, wouldn't Hillary have done?

She had experience galore of running the world
And who knows, the democrats might have won.

  9. Band-aids are a necessary part of the healing process, after all.
