Calling all dog breeders - can you identify the pedigree of these creatures? Yes, all right, I know I'm being ridiculous, but it's already Easter Sunday here in Australia and I think all that excess chocolate is starting to take effect.
Now I think I need some exercise, to work off all those calories and kilojoules. Maybe I'll take the dog for a walk.
No, really. I mean the real dog.

Well...in America, dachshunds are known as 'wiener dogs', but I rather doubt (or hope) that they are on the ingredient list here!

ReplyDeleteThis looks like a mixed breed between a Halloween accident and a dachshund. You know how dog owners love to dress up their pets for the one holiday more sugary than Easter? This one was likely made to be a hot dog to poke fun at its body shape. The owners went above and beyond and used real baking materials in the breaded exterior. In the course of the evening, the unenviable canine managed to get soaked in oil before chasing a stray tennis ball into the pre-heated oven.

Happy Easter, we are still about 6 hours away here in Canada. Those are my kids favorite breed of dog, they would love to have them for supper.

ReplyDeleteIf I had eaten those dogs for Easter, I think my stomach would be growling at me now. Processed foods may taste yum, however eating them is not always fun.
"Sausage Dogs" as we call them in England. Very long with short legs.
