Verse And Worse

Random Wit, Errant Rhyme. Not A Literary Crime

Quadratic equations can cause brain abrasions
On birthdays, Christmas and special occasions
Make sure they add up and confirm each figure
To ensure your answer isn’t smaller or bigger

  4. But if your numbers are wrong
    Sing yourself a happy song
The world is so much more than math
And the sober math teacher's wrath.
Sing and laugh and dance a pattern
With the sweetest girl or sauciest slattern.
Sing and dance and give out a laugh.
Let others tend to the pie chart and graph.

  5. You do know that when the equation's a figure, it's going to be smaller in the mind of a woman...unless she's shopping...in which case she just gives herself a raise in pay!

  8. Years ago,
quadratic equations were my forte, and a few months ago
I helped my grandson with parabolic equations,
but now I stick to hyperbole.

  12. Almost missed this one! I am now addicted to your blog because I like to challenge myself to see if I can come up with a witicism or rhyme. Unfortunately, can't think of anything right now. But thought I'd let you know...
