Uncle Tom's Cabin Cruiser

You Could Say It's A Stern Appraisal

Melburnians love their boats. And with spring just a few days away, things are going to start getting busy again at the St Kilda Marina. Soon, we'll all be sittin' on the dock of the bay.

Thanks for not giving up on me David - I can't believe you still listed me at no.11 in my absence - I know how stiff the competition is in here, and it sure was a beautiful welcome home (smile).

But sod no.11 - I'm back, so move over, this girl has some catching up to do!! Watch this space.. (hugs)

  2. David, I know you love the sea, but, to me, if it doesn't have at least one sail, it's not really a boat.
A duel was fought between Alexander Shott and John Nott in
June 1849. Nott was shot and Shott was not. In this case
it is better to be Shott than Nott. Some said that Nott was
not shot. But Shott says that he shot Nott. It may be that
the shot Shott shot, shot Nott, or it may be possible that
the shot Shott shot, shot Shott himself. We think, however,
that the shot Shott shot, shot not Shott, but Nott. Anyway it
is hard to tell who was shot and who was not.

Two of my brothers are master mariners. Must check if they've heard this one.

It's new to me - what a classic!
