A Romanian teenager who collects spiders faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon after threatening friends with a pet tarantula. Daniela Muntean, 17, carried the tarantula, which she had bought on an Austrian holiday, in a small plastic box. Police also seized several smaller, but equally dangerous, spiders she kept in glass cages.
Deadly weapon? They're big enough to be verrry scary, but are tarantulas really deadly?
