Weekend Wandering

Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.

The question is: Are you a nervous traveller?

  1. Actually, it's usually the ones travelling with me who are nervous (like the last time, when I held up the plane).

No. Plane, train or automobile? Let's go! Heck, I'm even up for a oat or a hot air balloon. Slightly less thrilled about going horseback, but then so's the hourse ...

And Shrinky must be quite a bit stronger than she looks!

  9. Yes, if my ex is driving! I'm actually not a good "flyer" but I'll go by plane if I have to.

  10. Only if I am NOT driving!
I like to be in the driver's seat. Then I'm fine. ;0)

Won't have a chance to do this one properly because I will be erm, well, driving.

  11. Well, yes, I am nervous, but I wrote a post about it. It's linked below regarding noises on airliners.

  12. Don't like road trips that involve sitting for hours and hours in a vehicle. I hate it. I get all uptight and anxious!
    I welcome taking the plane.

  13. Gawd NO! If I have an opportunity to go somewhere I go...

I remember the time I got lost in this little village in Italy with another woman(didn't really know her but was in our small group). She was absolutely panicked, but I just wandered around until I found a little old lady and asked her in my rusty Italian if she spoke English or French. Nope! No luck, but just then an old geezer came by and understood my Italian, French AND English and I was on my way again. That other woman was SO spooked she went off without me and I had to run to find her!

I think I'd like to travel with shrinky. lol

  16. Mostly not nervous but depending on which country I am in. When I was in Indonesia, whenever we go shop, we are surrounded by a huge crowd looking at what we buy. I guessed they are just curious but the huge crowd made me nervous.

  17. Hmmm, I think having a toddler occupies my mind enough to not worry about the other scary parts of traveling. My biggest worry when we go somewhere is if I have everything we'll need or making sure I don't lose things along the way.
