Farmer’s Cannon Too Loud, Say Neighbours
A group of Kentucky residents is suing a farmer, claiming the propane cannon he uses to scare away birds from his corn is too loud. Some of Dennis Polley's neighbours say the propane blasts are as loud as 120 decibels. Phil Palmgreen, whose property is about 500m away, said he could feel the impact of the blasts in his chest. Polley's wife, Debby said: ``What's going to be next? Will they not want you to start your tractors until 10 o'clock in the morning?''
FOOTNOTE: A cannon? That’s some calibre.
