Who's Keeping Stabs On Brutus?
Beware the ides of March indeed. We've all heard the saying, "the show must go on", but for one actor that was easier said than done. Kent Reed was playing the part of Brutus in a production of Julius Caesar, in Aspen. He was supposed to stab Caesar, but instead inflicted a real knife wound on himself. He said, "I pulled the switchblade out of my pocket, reared back, and instead of going like this I went like that." He was taken to the hospital and is now a minor celebrity after his cutting edge performance.
