Weekend Wandering

Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.

The question is: How strong is your faith?

Strong. A long time ago when things were at their most bleak, I was thrown a lifeline literally. It altered my life. I'm still here. I believe.

Loaded question here. As for my faith in God---believe it or not from someone like me---VERY much so, each and every day!

Now, if you're referring to my "fellow-man"---very little, if any!

Present company holds an "exempt" permit, however....!

I can't imagine living life without faith in God. I think it would be very difficult and I do not understand how people can believe when they die it is all over. I believe fully that God came into the world as Jesus Christ, died and was resurrected and will return again.

Happy Easter

I guess I'm the outlier here. Forgive me for not crafting a new post on the subject, as I've already delved into the topic here and here.

Hi David. This is a copy of my comment on Crazycath's last post.

I probably have more reasons than anybody I know for turning my back on any kind of faith or belief in anything outside of myself. I know I will never again follow any kind of religious expression of faith, particularly regarding this age's misinterpretation and expression of Christianity. However, despite everything that has happened to me I find I have become more loving, more joyful, more trusting as a result and know that I am a tiny part of a much greater I Am. In that I rest in peace.

Faith in what? I believe in God, but would I make a 'leap of faith?' Probably not. I have faith that eventually the right thing will happen, and I believe that there's a God who oversees all that. Sometimes we just have to let it happen (found you through crazycath).
