I didn't know there were training wheels, David! When I wanted to go roller skating again I couldn't because the plastic roller skates were tooo slippery. Such a colorful shot! Happy Earth Day!
Ah yes. These look familiar. Great angle. Looks like they were left in the same position as the skates/blades in my house (upside down, abandoned, in the middle of the floor?).
Excellent shot. You make the ordinary extraordinary. These remind me of my daughter's Barbie roller skates, they were pink too....a birthday present that thrilled her, along with matching elbow pads and knee pads. I can see her, in my minds eye, rolling (wobbling!) up and down the sidewalk, suddenly 2 inches taller from the wheels..
You've just reminded me of the last time I went skating. That shot is mostly all anyone saw of me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have just remembered I have to call the chiropractor.

Those pinks and lavenders bring back memories of my daughter's little girl toys. I think she had a "hotwheels" bike of just those colors.
