How Not To Catch A Flight

Don't Run Across The Highway Next Time

A British citizen who apparently missed his flight Wednesday night decided to try a different tactic to catch a plane out of Michigan. Waving a white towel, he ran across all lanes of Interstate 94, through a field, across railroad tracks and jumped over a six-layer barbed wire fence. He was stopped by an airport security guard who tackled the man and sat on him.
FOOTNOTE: Never throw in the towel.

If he tries that one too many times, he won't NEED the services of the airlines---he'll have his OWN set of wings---and they won't say RED BULL on 'em, either...!

Greetings from America, David. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

This story made me smile. I think it happens more than you read about in the papers, lol.

In this day and age, I can only imagine what could cause a person to try this. Duh...

Hi AJ,

Like Simon said, this guy was so lucky the guard sat on him and didn't pull a gun on him.

Thanks for dropping by. Do keep in touch.

Whoever stoipped him set back human evolution a tad. Some folks just need to be kicked out of the gene pool.
