Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.
The question is: Do you say "I love you" often enough?
Thanks for the cough remedy, its one my mother always gave us ..
And Husband and I say it every time we talk on the phone during the day .. and we have a tradition.. when I get to the office every morning I email him at home saying Good Morning, I love you .. when he gets up and checks email he replies and then we email silly xoxo and emoticons back and forth til I get too busy to play ..
You struck on my mission in life. The instilling of a comfortable "love vocabulary" in all of the world that I touch. (Once spoken to each of two co-workers at warehouse, and once to manager at McDonald's ... this morning.) Great topic, David!
Interesting. I have pondered people's comfort/discomfort with "I love you" for years, but it never occurred to me to make the debate public. I wonder, once you gather all this info, do you plan to share any resulting insights?
I am not certain when I'll get the post up. Today looks to be very busy, but soon ....
an important question and i can honestly say i try no to let a single day go by without saying to my family. i am especially careful to say it when they leave for the day or go away from home sowhere. perhaps morbid but if, god forbid, something should happen, I want those to be the last words they heard from me.
OK David ... I admittedly don't have a remote clue as to how this "linking thing" goes. But I have posted a bit on your topic, and linked the title to this post (of yours.) If I need modify ... PLEASE advise. (Thanks for your patience with a novice.)
I think I say it now more than ever, I don't know may be because I am getting older and I am appreciating more what I have - meaning my husband, lol. Anna :)
I think I now understand a bit more about linking. I wrote in your more recent post (rainbows) but here's my link to my post on this theme (if I get Terry's instructions right):

I once heard a man asking his girlfriend. "Sweetheart how can you say you love me and you don't even love yourself?" Something to think about today!!
I answered your question on my blog. Hope I did this link thing right. I've never done that before!
Davod I enjoy reading your posts even tho i am not able to comment on all of them.

Thanks for another post idea...
Plagiarism is alive and well! No, seriously, I try not to plagiarise, but you and some others out there don't half inspire...
Thanks. I'll post it up this week sometime.
