Thank you, David,
for bringing your bright light to another snowy day here in V.! :-)
Your POD awards really make a difference, and not only when you bestow the honour of being in the running for an award, but most every day when I manage to read at least a few of the blogs you recommend. To my chagrin I cannot remember how I ever managed to find your blog (or was I found?), but before I knew your blog I hardly ever read anybody else's blog. It simply did not figure in my life (I started blogging only to share my new hometown with my friends and neighbours back in the US). Imagine, how much learning I would have missed!
So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, non only for today, but for all the PODs and writing you did before that.
If your blog were a daily, I would have a subscription and each morning would it land on my doorsteps with a thud. ;-)

I must say that I don't know how you do it David. Every blog post you've recommended I've always gone and read and have never though 'why on earth did he pick this one?'.

Thank you David - I could never have imagined that my simple name should be of such interest! :-)

One more day of joy.

I saw you on Blogs of Note the other day. I like your choices here too as I have seen most of them this morning. Thanks also for visiting my blog.

Good morning David...I've been out feeding the birds and beasts and came in to see you. Once again you've made my morning brighter, and included me in such wonderful company!
Thanks so much! You know how honored I feel.

I'd like to nominate http://www.abouttextile.com/2009/02/antique-sock-knitting-machine.html

I think I just happened on to it from pushing 'next blog' in blogger. She has all kinds of textile machines up her sleeve - who knew that could be interesting?

I love that it's Friday where you are and I'm reading your posts on my Thursday.
I'd like to nominate Natalie's post for today. I can't figure out where the permalink is, but the blog link is http://mummypandy.blogspot.com/ and it starts out with a quote from an Eagles song.

Gee, David - Thank you so much for including me in your POD - I feel honored. I've been having internet problems for several days, so it was such a pleasant surprise to get back online and discover that you had selected my blog post. Thanks again!

Thanks David for including my post in your POD. This is a great feature and has led me to a number of interesting blogs that I now visit regularly. I also read your interview. I enjoy your humor and photography. I agree with your comment about titles - a good title can set the mood for the image.
