Chances Are The Owner’s In The Doghouse
A Chinese man was shocked to discover that the pet dog he had raised from a pup was actually a wolf. He found the shivering pup in the mountains last year. But locals grew suspicious after hearing a wolf howl during the night – and an expert from a local wildlife centre confirmed their suspicions.

There are certain dogs that could be mistaken for a wolf. I hope the wolf wasn't too rough on its new owners!
Btw, I've started a new Photography Blog, just a bit of fun.

They are certain it is not a sheep in wolf's clothing?
pretty puppy...albeit, hopefully not hungry.
We have a dog that we thought was a German Shepherd until he grew up and became a coyote. He's perfectly sweet, it's just that howling at the moon thing.
That's great. I love wolves.
Oh, pet dog turned into a wolf. The world really mad. :)

MMMHHHHH! We once had a spaniel that howled like that.
eh...I'm not believing the shock.
the fur is different...the teeth are different...he found the pup in the mountains...
he's lucky mama wolf didn't find HIM.
I was going to say I hope the man didn't eat the dog, but that would be racial stereotyping and not on.
I've seen wolf hybrids kept as pets before (not a good idea) and I suppose you might manage to domesticate a wolf if it grew up in these circumstances from a very young age. But at the end of it all this is a wild animal and needs to be ... in the wild.
Still, I can see the attraction. They're beautiful animals and I couldn't have left a pup like that to the mercy of the wild all alone either. But I hope I'd have been smart enough to take it to a wildlife refuge straightaway.
Otherwise, I'm not sure I could've let him go.
I would find myself in quite the conundrum because I would feel like I needed to set him free.
