What’s In A Name?

What About Tom, Dick Or Harry?

Politically correct German education officials have ordered a character called Bruno in a new children's book to be renamed Aydan. Officials in Hamburg were reportedly unhappy at having a character with the same name as Sacha Baron Cohen's alter ego, Austrian journalist Bruno.

This reminds me of a Rita Rudner joke:
My husband and I were looking for baby names and decided to ignore names of people we had met and didn't like.
So we're left with Zebedee!!

I have absolutely no idea why I thought of this, but....
"A Priest, a Minister and a Rabbi walk into a bar. Bartender: What is this? Some kind of joke?"

Lets hope the kids rebel and go to school in character instead! (Maybe I shouldn't say that as this new character is one I've never seen!)

Yikes, they think that character is bad? Whatever you do, don't tell them about Bruno over at Bruno's Blusterings! (Wink)
