Please answer today's question on your own blog, any time until next weekend. Just link to this blog (or to this post) so I can follow the progress of the discussion.
And the question is: How would you cope if you had no way to use the Internet for a week?

Funny you should ask that question now. Maybe about to find out David.
Checkout my blog to find out :):)
It would be a gift from God! I'd settle down to some serious writing..
I don't know David, but I'm about to find out!
I'm off for a week long road trip to the great falls and farm lands in between.
We'll see how it goes!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
I know what Ms. Scream is talking about. The net's a mixed blessing. An embarrassment of riches at our fingertips and yet sometimes a bit too diverting. When I'm working in my studio, I have a vintage laptop that won't allow me to post to my own blog. I can't even get the more complicated blogs such as yours, David, to load. In a way, it's a good thing. Forces me to focus on why I'm in the studio in the first place. Even so, the keyboard of my laptop is as paint-splattered as an action painting--my fingers are drawn there magnetically.
As long as Word still works on my computer, I could cope for a week. I would have to get my dictionaries off the shelf more often. Probably good exercise. ;-)
I have been thinking about this too..........I too would get lots done!
Hmmmmmmmmm! Very interesting!
Wow. That question needs some answering. Will post sometime this week.
I would agree with both casdok and shrink wrapped scream. Although it would be a *huge* disaster (at least psychologically), I would get a lot done without the internet. Maybe I could finally get around to hacking that program I've been going to....
David,
I've absolutely no idea how to do a backlink. The directions on Blogger made little to no sense to me. I did post directly to your post in my response and do have backlinks enabled. So, if you'd be so good as to provide step by step instructions as to how one does this (which blog to start from, do I need to type anything?, ect.) I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for posting the question, it was a good one!
Peace!
Do we have to actually do the experiment? I mean, this is NaBloPoMo, you know. I'll post on this later this week.

My answers up now David. x
Dude, I'd get a lot of other stuff done. I'll bite.
With one eye on that little green button that tells me I am connected, I'm off to answer this question...
Me again- just stopped by to tell you that if you get the chance, stop by- you're part of my post for today.

David; I almost forgot to answer this, but in the nick of time I got it done! So here is the post, but you'll have to wade through all my other nattering to get to the answer, as it was a bit of an afterthought.
