Thank you for once again gathering all these wonderful finds in your daily goodie bag! :-)

I just visited one of my favorite blogs, kept by the Washington State, Seattle area, artist Tara Chang, TLC Illustrations' "Silver Apples of the Moon." Tara's been on her annual pilgrimage to the Highland Games and Clan Gathering at the Pacific Northwest and has brought back wonderful pictures to share this event. Click here, for an exhaustive photo essay! ;-)

Ahh so glad to see my good pal Bag Lady has been discovered for one of your Post of the Day mentions. I'm pretty sure you're referring to her hilarious post "Special Friday "Review" Round-up" in your list of blog posts (as the link leads there), but somehow it ended up being called "Growing Into Loss" which I hope will get a correct link of its own as it sounds like it too promises to be a good read. Good choices all around, as always. :)

what a bonus, to wake up to a smattering of good reads! And since we seem to share literary tastes, I'm wondering if you could offer up some suggestions for works from India that are worth a read. I'm on the hunt for good international authors, as bookstore shelves seem a little ethnocentric here in the states...
