It's Too Early For Red Nose Day
If you haven't photographed a reindeer before, one of the ground rules is that they tend to get very skittish if you approach them with a camera in your hand. This little fellow was clearly a bit toey when he saw me coming towards him, one step at a time, so as not to frighten him away/
I just had one thing to tell him before he flew into the sky with Santa and the team that pull the sleigh. I simply wanted to tell him that Australia is a land of drought. You're wondering why our weather would be relevant to him?
It's all in the delivery. I just had to say, "There's no rain, dear".
Check out the rules at Camera Critters or go to Misty Dawn.

Fun take on the theme :)
I played too :)
An American tourist and his wife were walking in Red Square with their assigned translator, Rudolph Barnitzikoff, an elderly Muscovite, when precipitation began to fall. The man said "It's raining." His argumentative wife said "No! That's sleet!" The difference of opinon was repeated several times, getting louder with each exchange. Finally, the translator interjected "It is RAIN!" The man turned to his wife and said "See! I was right! Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear!"
(Sorry, I couldn't resist.)
Cute photos, David.
Cute little critter!
Aw how cute. Have a great week.
Happy new years to you.
Very cute little chap!
I'm sorry but the little guy is a girl. Male reindeer at this time of the year do not have antlers.
That is such a cute little reindeer. And as usual your humor is in good form. Blessing to you David and a belated Merry Christmas to you.
I think that reindeer is a little young for sleigh pu;lling.
Very cute :) Great shots, David.
Ok this beats my "Santa Pause" for the day of I took. The cute face is just so delightful and as always it's a cheeky take on the theme. Season's greetings to you.
Too cute and fun!

You crack me up. I'm so glad you didn't scare him away... then there wouldn't have been anyone to lead Santa's sleigh!
