It looks like the lace of a mantilla or an exotic fan .. I believe that is what that opening is called .. a Fan Light or maybe it was just waiting for a fan to come take its picture.. ready for my close up, Mr McMahon;-Daryl

Oh wow, this is one of my favorites. Beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful, David! The orange lighting behind it lets the laciness of the design stand out so nicely. Wonder what a sunset would do for it. Cheers!

I love iron work and I have quite a bit in my home. Mostly black of course.
