A Russian man survived after downing three bottles of vodka and leaping from a fifth floor balcony - twice. He said he jumped the second time because he couldn't take his wife's nagging about the first episode. After being treated for minor cuts and bruises, he decided to give up drinking,

Amazing ... years ago a friend shared his hospital room with a man in a full body cast .. he had attempted suicide by jumping from a 5th floor window - didnt die - but he did break every single bone in his body ...

I suppose he can explain that his rational thinking was pickeled at the moment.
I heard about this. I think they are turning it into a Vodka commercial;P
i think he should rather give up jumping from 5th floor balconies!!!
He would probably have hurt himself if he'd not had a drink! LOL

She was undoubtedly suggesting he stop drinking, but he had to come to that conclusion in his own time and his own way.
If he hadn't known, in his little heart of hearts, that she was really right, he would have jumped out of the tenth floor instead. THAT would have shown her! *rolleyes*
If inebriation is what saved his life... **TWICE!!!**
...Maybe I oughta pick up a bottle or two on the way home. "Hey kids! If you're going to be running near traffic or on skateboards, make sure you're totally tanked, okay?"
A man told me of a climbing accident where he fell 40 feet and walked away unscathed. The person holding the rope had 2nd degree burns, though. This man attributes his safety to "angels, who carried him for the first 35 feet, so that his fall was only the last 5 feet after that."
I'm not sure what to make of it, but thought this might be an appropriate time and place to relate the account.
