What a lovely pun, David! And I cheerfully refer you to the popular, Caldecott award winning children's book, "Tuesday" where upon the last page pigs do indeed fly. :-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, David, and leaving a comment. And yes, great minds think alike and all that. Not sure I qualify for the equation but I went for it anyway!
The pig ran as fast as he could down the runway Hoping to get launched in the air in a fun way He jumped in the air But crashed in depair And wandered around with flu in a stun way!

If I get hit with the swine
I'm sure I'd do nothing but whine
Everyone has to be extra alert :)

Bravisimo!! This is one of my favorite types of poetry. Just little bits of rhyming fluff with a double entendre thrown in for good measure!
Carry a sturdier umbrella.
That is good!

Hard hat and rain coat would be added to your haberdashery!
AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH that was PUNishing:)
You'd see the doc who'd check your temp
And ask you: "Have you met an imp,
a microscopic entity
who launches mass infirmity?"
And if your answer is "No way!"
Chances are that you can say
"I wash my hands quite regularly
while singing Happy Birthday, me!"
The flu swines can fly away as far as they want, as long as they don't plan on making another pig stop! ;-)
run screaming!!!!!!
