Maybe It's A Puff, Daddy
Calling all dog breeders - can you identify the pedigree of these creatures? Yes, all right, I know I'm being ridiculous, but it's already Easter Sunday here in Australia and I think all that excess chocolate is starting to take effect.
Now I think I need some exercise, to work off all those calories and kilojoules. Maybe I'll take the dog for a walk.
No, really. I mean the real dog.
Check out the rules at Camera Critters or go to Misty Dawn.

It's that rare breed that is a rapper and has its own line of clothing...
And just think, they're pure vegetarian.
Right?
Right...
:)
Hey David...nice to be finally wandering around online a little and to see you...missed doing this :))
All that chocolate has made you just a tad flakier than usual. ;)
Happy Easter to you.
Well...in America, dachshunds are known as 'wiener dogs', but I rather doubt (or hope) that they are on the ingredient list here!
(Although with frankfurters, one can never be sure ;-P)
They sound nasty! Ha!
I played too :)
Happy Easter David!
Wonderful title as always!!
Sure hope those Puffy Dogs weren't your Easter meal. :)
Enjoy your walk and thanks for the smiles.
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Too funny! How about some corn dogs?
Happy Easter!
Oh yummy ... I miss those sort of dogs !! :-)
They are soooo good, especially dipped in tomato sauce (ketchup here in the US)..
Blanket Dogs ?? Weak, I know, but I haven't had enough coffee yet...or chocolate..
heee heee heeee, you're the best. may all our easter's be like this...
great picture of a critter--love it
The puffy dogs look like a lot of calories. Even more than chocolate, maybe.
I would like to eat those dogs!
I'm not sure WHAT those are but I'd just bet most any dog would gobble 'em down in a nano-second.
ohoho you are even cornier today is that corndog related :) happy Easter
Those actually look good.
Happy Critterday!
I find this type of food just a little bit ono the adult side. :)
looks yummy..
Visit mine here and thanks..
Must be cool weather as you've put your "dogs" in a blanket...Enjoy your walk...Happy Easter! Blessings to you! Janine
This looks like a mixed breed between a Halloween accident and a dachshund. You know how dog owners love to dress up their pets for the one holiday more sugary than Easter? This one was likely made to be a hot dog to poke fun at its body shape. The owners went above and beyond and used real baking materials in the breaded exterior. In the course of the evening, the unenviable canine managed to get soaked in oil before chasing a stray tennis ball into the pre-heated oven.
Ive been to quite a few dog shows and have seen some puffy dogs... but not as puffy as these!
Those look goog --looks like a pig in the blanket! TFS
One word: nitrates
I am LOL .. I havent seen little cocktail weiners in forever .. I bet they were good .. being a non meat eater I wont have any but I suggest a little mustard to dip them in ..
They look delicious!
And I want to see the real dog. No. Really I do. Why haven't we seen the real dog yet? ;0)
PS Hope you have a great day and not too much chocolate!
Great post!!LMAO! and groaning at the same time.
Happy Easter to you and yours, David!
Those dogs scare me. We used to call them pigs in a blanket. How did they get to be dogs?
Happy Easter, we are still about 6 hours away here in Canada. Those are my kids favorite breed of dog, they would love to have them for supper.
As per your usual form, this is a very original post.
If I had eaten those dogs for Easter, I think my stomach would be growling at me now. Processed foods may taste yum, however eating them is not always fun.
"Sausage Dogs" as we call them in England. Very long with short legs.
They are really 'hot dogs'
Eddie
sothat's your excuse chocolate a good one hahahSandy blessings to all
Dog? I thought those were pigs in a blanket.
