Bladder Control

Give Pees A Chance

Because so many readers have asked about the location of the don’t-pee sign (see photograph below, on the previous post titled Flush Gordon) I am compelled to respond. No, it wasn’t taken in a restroom in the Singapore area known as ``Little India’’. I was actually walking down a street in the area when I saw the sign on the wall of an external walkway, or arcade. And yes, it amused me just as much as it has amused all of you. Hence the photograph!

The powers that be (pee-ers that be?) didn't want to give pees a chance when it came to the wall, did they.

Hi Annie,

That's very clever. Maybe the succumbed to peer pressure!!!

To P or not to P - the sign makes the answer clear.

I want to thank you for your visits to Wichita - you sure have a quick wit about you, and I enjoy your clever quips.

You'll appreciate the sign in my mother-in-law's apartment block:

UDD-erly disgusting

The powers that pee are undoubtedly chaffing under one.

What's the penalty for a rogue pee-on, anyway?

(and you just missed my Monty Python tribute post by seconds!)

Yikes, they have to post a sign telling them not to pee in the streets?

I absolutely love that photo. I wonder where I could get one of those signs - it'd be a great conversation piece!

Loved Singapore when I was there. Great Chinese food.

They need those in the club district here in Edinburgh. I'm sure I've seen similar signs in Japan, where men urinating in public is rather acceptable and commonplace.

Priceless (and so are the comments.) It reminds me of a sign in Gros Morne National Park in Newfoundland; the sign is of a hunter with the red circle/slash through it, and of course it means "no hunting". But to my warped and wicked mind, still annoyed by the hordes of drunken moose hunters (in full camo gear) who had been on the ferry from mainland Canada...the sign meant "don't shoot the hunters!"
This blog is great fun, David. Thanks for visiting, and I'll add a link on my page and be back regularly!
