Tooth, The Whole Tooth, Nothing But The Tooth
Two British dentists have won a legal battle with French fashion giant Lacoste over the right to use a toothy crocodile on their Cheltenham surgery sign. Doctors Simon Moore and Tim Rumney said they chose a crocodile for their logo because the reptile was famous for having a mouth full of teeth. Lacoste tried to argue the logo was too similar to their own emblem, but London's Intellectual Property Office, the official body for patents, trademarks and copyrights, said consumers were unlikely to confuse the two. The dentists said Lacoste's action was like ``using a sledgehammer to crack a nut''.

I want a tooth pulling and make it 'Snappy'
Never smile at a crocodile! :)
You just never know what people will get all worked up about, will you.....
Still sending good health vibes your way David.
I could think of better things to worry about :)
As I'm totally unaware of what the French fashion-house's logo looks like [sad unfashionable geek that I am] the idea that one could be confused by a dentist's logo seems ridiculous. I wonder if the free advertising was worth the legal fees!
