When I was young and my mom was making dinner in the kitchen, my dad used to sing, "Hey, Good Lookin', what ya got cookin'? How 'bout cookin' somethin' up with me."
It was taken in a food court. I did ask the chef's permission and he seemed bewildered as to why I would want such a ``mundane'' shot.
He said to go ahead and I showed him the shot immediately afterwards and pointed out all the many colour textures in the reflection of the woks and he eventually gave me the thumbs up!!!
The more I hear about your Dad, the more I like the sound of him. I'll have to make a trip to the US just to catch up with him - and your clan of course!
Great shot! The triangular patterns in the gap inbetween the woks look like repeating Christmas Trees - I wonder what this shot would look like framed even closer?
he he took me a while to work out the photo until i read your caption. Great composition and such beautiful woks. Mine's a black ole thing with a wobbly handle. I need a new one lol.

Excellent capture David - this tickles my fancy - I imagine the most fabulous stir-fry simmering away...mmmm

Hi Janice,
It actually looked and smelled so good that I ate there. I ordered the Singapore speciality - ``chicken rice'' and it was great!

That picture looks really cool when you scroll up and down, like a flip book. I wish you a very Happy New Year.
Beautiful photo, David. There's room to do some cooking there!
Oh, I just love that!! :)
I finally cooked for the first time today (baked beans) and I'm sick of it already. It's a wonderful photo, though.
All cleaned up:<
Let's just hope they don't topple over. What a sound that would make! Happy WW.
Cool picture!
It amazes me how you can find unique beauty in such everyday things.
Now..........being that Chinese food is my ABSOLUTE favorite, I find this photo fabulous, indeed!!

Makes me think of one thing:

Good thing their new year isn't tonight, I'm starving.
Great shot! The triangular patterns in the gap inbetween the woks look like repeating Christmas Trees - I wonder what this shot would look like framed even closer?

The leaning towers of wok, I think.

Wok This Way.
Wok and woll!
Ah, that reminded me of the old song I used to hear on the radio...my dad loved it!
Ha! You're not going to believe this, but last night, my wife and I stayed up to watch the movie, Wokking Tall.
Love the pic!
This plays up the sculptural qualities of the woks--individually and collectively. Love it!
wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-wok-a-
it's a Pac-Man sort of year already, David!
Which reminds me: I cannot remember who borrowed my wok and never returned it.
Great shot
I thought the gap between the woks looked like a Christmas tree!
The center looks like a Christmas tree
