Hot Under The Collar

Even The Footpath Is Sizzling

Last post before the wedding, here in Adelaide in a coupla hours. Gotta get dressed up to the nines to watch my niece walk down the aisle. We've all been watching the weather with bated breath. It was 40.3 degrees yesterday and it's 41 degrees today. And that's Celsius, too! Still, nothing's going to get in the way of a wonderful occasion, especially when members of the family have flown in from all round the world.

Hi. Just out of curiosity, did one of Brian's daughters get married?? I remember the three girls. Jacquie was a couple of months older than my oldest daughter....

Shakila.

Hi Shakila,
Yes, it was his middle daughter, Tracy. You have a great memory. By the way, did you ever see my reply to your comment about the book? Just got back to Melbourne ,....
Cheers

Oh yes, I remember all the girls' names. The oldest is Kathy Ann, right? Do please give Brian and Roz my regards. Would love to get in touch with them sometime. And no, did not get to see your reply to my comment on your book.....where would I find it?

Shakila.

Hi Shakila,
Yes, you're spot-on. Total recall! Brian and Ros have not returned yet, but leave your email address here. I'll forward it to them and then immediately delete it here, so it's not available to all and sundry!
The reply to your comment is on the blogpost called The Red Hot Chilli Poppers - where you first found my blog.
Cheers

Thanks, Shakila,
Will pass that on to Brian and Ros, but they won't get it until they return home next week.

Hi David,

I was most interested to find you via the AI Portal website! You may or may not remember me, but I was friends with Michael for a while, before going to the U.K. I now live in the U.S. with my family. I was also interested in the wedding photos and trying to decide whose daughter it was!

Anyway, your photos are wonderful, and your book(s) sound quite amazing. I must get my hands on one.

Dear Carol,
Great to hear from you. I clearly remember you, your parents and elder sister (she played tennis at the Dalhousie Athletic Club and drove a black car which I think was your Dad's).
It was Brian's middle daughter who got married.
There is actually a picture of Mike on my blog - under the headline ``Amitabh Bachchan And My Brothers'' but you'll have to scroll through the November listings.
I'm so glad you like the sound of the book and that you're looking for a copy. A friend told me Amazon sold out this week, but it is available at www.abebooks.com so let me know if you succeed.
Cheers
David
