Falling In Love With A Carton Character
A Welsh farmer who placed a lonely hearts advertisement on a milk carton hopes to marry a US woman who answered his plea. Geraint Evans, 28, hadn't had a girlfriend for almost five years because his long days at work often ended at 11pm. He was one of a number of North Wales farmers who persuaded a dairy company to put their photographs on cartons with an email address. Interior design student Laura Allison, 21, from Chicago, was holidaying in the UK when she saw Geraint's face on a pint of milk she bought near his Wrexham home. She said: "I think I fell in love a little right there and then."
FOOTNOTE: She's got the cream of the crop.

how incredible!
G'day Simon,
I guess that's the Welsh version of a B&S ball (for overseas readers, that's a Bachelors and Spinsters ball, a fairly common occurrence in the Aussie bush).

Is this really true??? It is very sweet, if it is, or not!
That so much better than is "Computer dating"...I love it's simplicity...a milk carton, no less!!

Hi Wanda,
Women can ``pore'' over prospective grooms while they ``pour'' their milk over the cereal!
Yes, it's a lot better than computer dating or speed dating.
Isn't it a wonderful story ....

Like water, love will always find a new path to spring from.
I hope my mother doesn't hear about this!!
I like this story! So very sweet. (now I know why I don't meet marraige-minded men - I'm lactose intolerant!)
